Important Instruction for the Students:

  • Take your seat as per the sitting arrangement. It is mandatory, failing which no attendance will be given and their exam paper will be liable to be cancelled.
  • Do not remove the Roll Number tag.
  • Bring Registration Card & Student ID every day.
  • No student will be allowed to sit for the examination without original Registration card/Student ID.
  • Mobile phone is not allowed.
  • Come in Formal Dress.
  • Maintain silence in Examination hall.
  • During first one hour and last 15 minutes of the examination, students are not allowed to go out. However students may leave the hall after submission of answer scripts during last 15 minutes.
  •  Only one student per stream will be allowed to go out during examination.
  • After half an hour of the commencement of the examination, students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without permission from Controller of the Examination.

Important Instruction for the Students:

  • Take your seat as per the arrangement.
  • Do not remove the Roll Number tag.

  • No student will be allowed to sit for the examination without original Registration card/Student ID.
  • Mobile phone is not allowed.
  • Come in Formal Dress.
  • Maintain silence in Examination hall.
  • During first one hour and last 15 minutes of the examination, students are not allowed to go out. However students may leave the hall after submission of answer scripts during last 15 minutes.
  •  Only one student per stream will be allowed to go out during examination.
  • After half an hour of the commencement of the examination, students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without permission from Controller of the Examination.

The Department of Biotechnology is organizing the third chapter of the symposium series on “Advanced Techniques of Biotechnology: Applications and Prospects” on 27th and 28th February 2018 (Venue: Ground Floor Conference Hall of the University).

This conference will cover the emerging areas of biotechnology and provide a national forum for scientific discovery, professional networking, research collaboration, interdisciplinary education, and dissemination of our most recent scientific advances to the academic as well as to the industries.

Taiwan is an island and is situated in the west Pacific between Japan and Philippines and is about the size of Netherlands with a population of 23 million. It is one of the most densely populated places in the world. It is the 7th largest economy in the world and is part of the advanced economies group as per the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The electronics sector is Taiwan’s most important industrial export sector. It is considered the hub of information, telecommunications and other high technology industries. Its exports are worth nearly USD 300 billion.

Considering the growing importance of Taiwan in the high technology industries, Techno India University, West Bengal, has decided to collaborate with WuFeng University in Taiwan to provide a short-term exposure to a selected number of students from its Engineering stream.

WuFeng University was established in 1965 and boasts of a 45 acre campus with nearly 6700 students enrolled with them. It has an excellent and well-networked campus with high technology labs. It also has collaborations with technology companies like SIEMENS which have high-end working labs in the university.

The workshop will be held on the 29th and the 30th November, 2017. It will start at 11 am sharp and will continue for 6 hours, with a break of half an hour in between, as chosen by the attending experts. The rules have been framed in accordance to the guidelines issued by UGC :

  1. Utmost restraint to be exercised by all participants to ensure healthy behaviour and not to resort to any such behavior or act which may cause injury, psychologically, mentally or physically to any of the fellow students.
  2. No student shall be permitted to enter the campus in intoxicated condition. If any student is found to be in intoxicated condition shall be asked to vacate the premises immediately
  3. No student shall be permitted to enter the campus in any sort of attire which is contradictory to the spirit of harmony in an educational institution.
  4. All students are required to show their identity cards as and when any authority shall ask for the same. Entering the premises without an identity card shall be prohibitive.
  5. Microphones and sound systems may be used in such a manner that it does not cause disturbance to the sanctity and peacefulness of the premises as well as the neighbor-hood .
  6. Each student is required to exhibit exemplary behavior of mutual respect towards the fellow students, faculty members and the guests.
  7. The student committee has committed total peaceful proceedings of the programme for which they have taken full responsibility.
  8. In view of our recent unpleasant experiences concerning ragging of students, police have been asked to stand by and keep vigil. In the unfortunate event of any unpleasant act, immediate action shall be taken against the miscreant and the programme shall be immediately suspended without progressing further.
  9. The programme should end sharp at 6:00 PM and the entire campus shall have to be vacated then and there.
  10.  Students have to ensure proper cleanliness of the premises for which student committee shall be held responsible.

Excerpts from the AICTE & UGC Regulations for

Prevention & Prohibition of Ragging in Colleges

Ragging constitutes one or more of the following acts:-

 

  • any conduct by any student which has the effect of teasing,

treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other

student;

  •  indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities by any student

which causes annoyance, hardship, physical or

psychological harm or to raise fear in any fresher or any other

student;

  • asking any fresher or any other student to do any act which

has the effect of causing a sense of shame, or torment or

embarrassment to the student;

  • any act by a senior student that prevents, disrupts or disturbs

the regular academic activity of any other student or a

fresher;

  • exploiting the services of a fresher or any other student for

completing the academic tasks;

  • any act of financial extortion or forceful expenditure burden

put on a fresher or any other student;

  • any act of physical abuse including all variants of it;
  •  any act or abuse by spoken words, emails, posts, public

insults participating in the discomfiture to fresher or any other

student;

  • any act that affects the mental health and self-confidence of a

fresher or any other student.

 

 

Actions to be taken against students for indulging and

abetting ragging in educational institutions:-

 

  • Punishment has to be exemplary and justifiably harsh.
  • First Information Report (FIR) must be filed without exception
  • The Anti-Ragging Committee shall decide the punishment
  • Punishments shall be one or more from the following:-

(i)    Cancellation of admission

(ii)   Suspension from attending classes

(iii)  Withdrawing of scholarship and other benefits

(iv) Debarring from appearing in any test/examination

(v)  Withholding results

(vi) Debarring from representing the institution

(vii)Suspension from the hostel

(viii)               Rustication from the institution for period ranging from 1

to 4 semesters

(ix) Expulsion from the institution

(x) Collective punishment: when the persons committing

ragging are not identified, the institution shall resort to

collective punishment

 

In pursuance to the Judgment of the Honourable Supreme Court

of India dated 08.05.2009 in Civil Appeal No. 887/2009, the

University Grants Commission (UGC) has framed “UGC

Regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher

educational institutions, 2009” which have been notified on 4th

July, 2009 in the Gazette of India.

JOIN INDIAN NAVY - UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME(UES) - 2018

The Indian Navy has again decided to open its doors for the students who could not join the Indian Navy earlier. It is in the form of University Entry Scheme (UES 2018). The final year students have been given the opportunity to join the Indian navy as a Commissioned officer (Permanent Commission in Executive branch) and Short Service Commissioned Officer in other branches. The registrations for the scheme have already opened shall close on 31 Jul 17.

The campus screening to appear before the SSB (Services Selection Board) will start in the third week of Aug 17 till first week of December. The campuses in a particular city/ state will be decided on the number of registrations from a particular institution. Those dates will be intimated to you after the finalization of schedules. With the experience from the previous years and because of the large numbers of aspirants, it has been decided to accept only those who have registered on line, for the screening. It is therefore imperative that the students be encouraged to decide now and register on line.

Sankalp’s selection procedure will have the following process in that order. Sequential clearing of each round leads to qualifying to the next round and Failing any round leads to elimination from selection.

The written test will be cover Technical (covering basic circuits with R, L, C, V, I, CMOS, Electronics and Control Theory)

 

Brief Job profile:

Sankalp works on deep sub-micron & ultra-deep sub--micron nodes in the areas of

· Analog design -- ​full chip, or modules for various applications like Power Management, Data Converters, Clocking Systems, SERDES/PHY-s

· Analog layout – full chip, modules for a wide range of designs – floor planning, area challenges – RF, Power management, Data converters designs etc.

· IO designs – IO cells, interfaces with area, power & speed challenges – CMOS, LVDS IOs, USB etc.

· Modeling – PSPICE modeling of ICs – Modeling with extreme accuracy challenges.

· Digital cell libraries & digital backend – low-area, low-power libraries, digital implementation of modules – logic synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, Timing closure, Design closure – challenges of shortest cycle time, lowest area etc

 

At the end of the generic training modules, based on the needs, individuals will be assigned their specific areas of work, which will be based on the above. Sankalp has a formal Career Growth and Development (CGD) process, through which an individual’s career growth in the organization will be closely monitored and nurtured.

CAMPUS RECRUITMENT NOTICE

SELECTION PROCESS : Basically comprise of the following rounds:

 

Round 1: General Aptitude Test(Online Test) 

Round 2: HR Interview for Passing candidates 

Round 3. Final Interview for Short-listed candidates

Reporting Time-09.00 AM-The students will be guided to the Seminar Halls and then to the respective labs where the online test will take place which will last for 45 minutes. (Note: Students are required to enter the computer lab with their Resume and a Pen)

After online test, the students need to await for the result, after which, the shortlisted students, will sit for the preliminary interviews(H.R Interviews).

Reporting Time- 9:30 AM - Continuation of Preliminary Interview.

 

The Final Interview details will be informed to the students at the time of recruitment process.

 

Documents to be carried: 

o    Updated Resume-2 copies

o    Coloured passport size photographs- 2 copies

o    A 4 sized blank paper – 4 copies

o    All the testimonials from Class 10th onwards

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A promising career in the field of commercial vehicle finance which involves “Financing & recovery” in Commercial Vehicle Division.

 

1. One year on the job Training in the field of Commercial Vehicle Finance.

 

2.  Learning about entire Gamut of Business activities and various product verticals at the branch level.

 

3. Identification of right Customers, Customers’ interaction, servicing & relationship building.

 

4. Finding new scopes & Related Opportunities.

 

After Successful Completion of one year Training & Probation, MT’s will be absorbed to Assistant Manager or Equivalent Managerial Positions depending upon their performance during the training & probation period.

 

Once again, please note the following eligibility criteria: -

A minimum aggregate of First Class. i.e 60% and above or 6.0 in their latest Degree i.e 60% or 6.0 in B.Tech average or MBA average. The company has added, that there should not be more than 2 standing arrears.

Age: Not above 25 years (i.e., born on or after 01/01/1992)
